House roules "Häusl am Hang"

Dear holiday guests!
Our holiday apartment should be like a second home to you. You should feel comfortable and be able to relax. We have put a lot of effort into the furnishings and hope that you will find everything you need. The following house rules are intended to help you ensure a pleasant stay. We have also listed a few rules that we hope you will understand.
By treating the apartment properly, you will help us continue to offer you and other guests satisfactory accommodations in the future.

If you miss anything in the furnishings or if you need assistance,
please contact us. All items in the apartment or on the balcony may and should be used by guests. Please handle all furnishings and inventory with care and treat the rental property with respect.
Please ensure that your fellow travelers also comply with the rental conditions.

Please treat the kitchen equipment and appliances with care.
Since a dirty kitchen is no one's cup of tea, please only store dishes, pots, and cutlery in the cupboards when they are clean and dry. Please do not place hot pots and other hot objects on the tables or countertops without trivets. Always use a cutting board when cutting.

Damage
No one intentionally damages things, but it can happen to anyone that something breaks.
We would appreciate it if you would report any damage so that we can discover it during the final cleaning, rather than waiting until after your departure.
The tenant is liable for damage up to the replacement cost.

Ventilation
To prevent mold growth, we ask you to ventilate the rooms sufficiently,
at least once a day for 5-10 minutes, and especially after showering.

Duty of Care
We ask our guests to treat the apartment with care and ensure that fellow travelers and relatives also comply with the rental conditions. The front door should always be closed and locked with a key when leaving the house. Likewise, all windows must be closed when leaving the house to prevent possible damage from storms or burglary. Water and electricity resources must be used sparingly.

Disposal
Waste is separated into residual waste, glass, paper, and packaging with the green dot.
Respective trash cans are located in front of the house.
We have tried to conceal the many bins as much as possible. You will find three bins on the right side in front of the house (residual waste, plastic waste, and green waste) and the blue paper bin next to the garage. We also have separate containers for each type of waste in the house.

Receptacles for glass waste are available in Ramsau at the Wimbachbrücke.

Please only use trash cans with garbage bags and dispose of them in the residual waste bin. No garbage, food scraps, harmful liquids, or similar items may be thrown or poured into the kitchen sink, toilets, washbasins, or showers! Avoid anything that could clog the pipes (do not flush sanitary products down the toilet).

Cleaning
If you go down the stairs to the basement, you will find a small corner on the right-hand side with a broom, vacuum cleaner, etc.
Should you have any accidents (extreme dirt, spills on the floor or work surfaces, etc.), we ask that you clean them up immediately. We ask that you leave the house swept clean upon departure and put all used dishes, pots, pans, etc. neatly back in the cupboards.

Internet/Wi-Fi

Wi-Fi is available in the house: Gast am Hang.
The password is 3728 7014 4414 0815.
To ensure good reception everywhere, we use a Wi-Fi booster. However, we would like to point out that you are not permitted to use the internet connection for illegal activities, such as illegally downloading films.

Using the internet with your own Wi-Fi-enabled device (laptop, PDA, smartphone, etc.) via the Wi-Fi connection is free of charge for tenants. You use the internet at your own risk; the landlord excludes any liability in connection with the tenant's internet use.

Since internet use is free of charge, network outages or disruptions are not a cause for recourse.

Quiet Times
In the interest of good neighborliness, we ask you to observe public quiet hours, such as
midday, night, and Sunday quiet hours. Quiet hours should also be observed in the house itself between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM, out of consideration.

Smokers
Smoking is not permitted in the house. Please leave the holiday home to smoke or go to the balcony or garden. Please dispose of completely cooled cigarette butts in the trash can.

Parking
Parking spaces are located in front of the house.
Please be considerate of our neighbors and park your car only
on the paved area in front of the house. The neighboring property should be used as little as possible.
If a parking space is provided to you, this does not constitute a storage contract. The landlord is not liable for the loss of or damage to motor vehicles parked or maneuvered on the property, including their contents, except in cases of intent or gross negligence.

Sauna and Whirlpool
In both bathrooms, you will find a whirlpool and a small sauna for relaxation. Please read the operating instructions before using both facilities. The instructions for the bathtub can be found in the lower drawer of the bathroom cabinet. The instructions for the sauna are behind the door.

Baby Crib and High Chair
We are happy to provide a baby crib and high chair free of charge. By prior reservation only (at least 24 hours before arrival).

Dogs
We are very happy to welcome four-legged guests, as we have very much-loved stray dogs ourselves. However, we ask that you please not allow your pets to sleep in the bed, and the sofas should also be reserved for two-legged friends.
And very important:
Please do not let dogs run around the meadows around the house and possibly do their business. Wastl, the farmer, would not be happy about dogs on his pastures.
Below the house, there is a very beautiful path along the Ache River, towards the Magic Forest, where the village dogs can roam off-leash. Please be sure to clean up after your dog, as this often leads to arguments in the village when there are piles of droppings everywhere.
Our favorite path for a morning walk is the König Max Weg, along the old Reichenhaller Strasse. A fantastic view of the Hochkalter and the Watzmann family, and early in the morning, you'll encounter few other walkers here:

On public buses, the bus driver decides whether to allow dogs or not. If in doubt, it might be advisable to have a muzzle with you in case the driver has concerns. Muzzles are also required on boats on Lake Königsee. Dogs are only allowed if they are wearing them.

In Berchtesgadener Land, dogs are generally required to be on a leash, as there are many grazing animals and protected wild animals living there.

If you're looking for a fenced-in, off-leash area, there is one in the beautiful park of Hellbrunn Palace, just outside Salzburg. The dog area itself isn't that spectacular, but there are great old trees in the park, several interesting historic buildings, and the Gasthof Friesacher nearby. The food is super delicious. And on a trip across the border, you can also get cheap gas ;-)
Otherwise, your dog will definitely enjoy the garden, where he can... You can play to your heart's content!

House Rules
In case of immediately necessary repairs, it may be necessary for the landlord to enter the
vacation apartment without the guest's knowledge. However, we will inform you in advance.

Keys
Please never hand over the keys. Lost keys must be reported immediately, and the guest is liable up to the replacement cost.

Liability
The landlord is not liable for guests' valuables.

Arrival and Departure
Arrival is by arrangement (please inform us of your departure time one day before departure).
On the day of departure, we ask our guests to
vacate the vacation home by 10:00 a.m. at the latest. Upon your departure,
the vacation apartment should be left as you found it.

Thank you for your attention.
We wish you a pleasant stay, lots of fun, relaxation, and
recreation. We are happy to answer any questions you may have.
